Laura lives in Rochester, New York where it is an honor to lead from the rule book of life written by my 6 yr old daughter, Eloise, to dance endlessly with my 4 yr old son, Emory, and pave the way for their futures partnering with my nature-loving, pro disc golf player of a husband, Jeremy.
I can be found singing at the top of my lungs, braiding hair, moving furniture around (with your consent), pointing out hawks I see flying above, or the first fallen leaf of autumn. I’m an artist with words and movement and I love language and dance. I adore the messiness and creativity of humanity, and wondering about it all!
Fun fact:
I am a Synesthete! Synesthesia is a perceptual phenomenon in which stimulation of one sensory or cognitive pathway leads to involuntary experiences in a second sensory or cognitive pathway. The way it occurs for me is called Color Grapheme Syneasthesia, which means that ever since I can remember, all alphabet letters, numbers, days of the week, and months have a color assigned to them. It’s become something I regard as a creative gift, and something most people never learn about me!

See the Northern lights while sailing the Norwegian fjords and taking a romantic dog sled ride under the Scandinavian star-filled sky!
Wise words:
There is no excel sheet or time management tool for Motherhood. Without clarity, courage, and community we can live for years trading our energy, presence and joy in one area for overwhelm, distraction, or absence in another.
Motherhood will feel like it’s all about trade-offs without the right infusion of three foundational practices that you must intentionally engage with: Flow, Surrender, and Support, each of which I explore in my Motherhood & Leadership Workbook.
