Season of Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha Changes!

It’s been a whirlwind of a week over here, how has your week been?

We are in full-on production mode as we are in the final stretch of launching some big things over here.

Did you catch our most recent unveiling this week over on Instagram?

You may have seen it already, but we are launching a podcast. Stay tuned as the Prosperous Empath™ podcast comes out next week. In the meantime, you can catch the trailer and subscribe to the show.

Honestly, I’m still getting used to hearing the sound of my own recorded voice. However, I’ve listened to the trailer at least a dozen times by now and I get more excited each time!

There’s a lot more in store over the next coming weeks and we cannot wait to share it all with you. If you’re excited as we are about bringing empathy back into the world of business and would like to help support us in sharing the podcast by joining our launch team. Just hit reply and our team will facilitate you with some social proof to help us reach others who believe in this message.

Today, I want to leave you with some words of encouragement. Some lessons that I learned the hard way, so hopefully you don’t have to.

I was on a call with my coach a couple years ago and she reflected something to me that I wasn’t aware of, a habit I had fundamentally transformed through our work together.

She told me, “Thank you for giving yourself the gifts of the life you want to have, Cat.”

It stopped me in my tracks.

Because I hadn’t realized that this was a behavior that I had fought against for most of my life.

You see, we had recently bought our first home. I had recently ended two business relationships that were no longer aligned for me. I bought my dream car that same week. Oh, and we were adopting a puppy (and we’ve since adopted a second puppy – see image above)!

That’s a whole lot of change and abundance in my world.

Each of these changes felt aligned and easeful. But why is it that we resist making improvements to our lives that we know are what we deeply desire?

Many of us believe we need to work ourselves to death to achieve the level of success we want (let alone believing we’re worthy of that success we create).

Many of us know that we deserve to have what we want and create the work-life balance that is our birthright, but deeply struggle putting it into practice.

And then honoring those boundaries, don’t even get me started…

We ALL deserve to give ourselves the gifts of the life we want to have.

Not just some of us, but all of us.

Those gifts look different for each of us.

For many years, they looked like time in nature, nights out dancing bachata, and trip after trip for me. These days, they have revolved around growing a nurturing and beautiful home and most recently, getting married.

I used to believe that I needed to accomplish x, y and z in my business BEFORE I fulfilled on my desires.

These days, I know in my bones that I have nothing to prove before I can be kind with myself.

This is what our coaching firm and the UNBOUNDED mastermind is ALL about.

Helping women entrepreneurs know that it is through giving themselves the gifts of the life they want to have, and building their business, systems, and lifestyles around that principle, that they will create the life they always dreamed of.

I pray that you too begin to give yourself the gifts of the life you want to have. You only have this one opportunity to do so.

As an empath, it can often feel like we’re living in a world that’s grieving hardship and heartbreak. This is why I’m grateful to sit down with Jenn Andreou, an Executive Coach and Grief Recovery Method Specialist. In her work, Jenn helps grievers who feel stuck in the pain of their losses to move through grief and take action to regain their wellbeing. Throughout the episode, we talk about living with grief and allowing yourself to feel pain, sadness, and sorrow instead of fixing or bypassing them. After living through two tragic losses, it took Jenn seventeen years to truly begin to heal and find her way back to joy. Why? Because while grief is emotional, we as a society often intellectualize it and don’t allow ourselves to truly embrace and process our feelings. Jenn joins me for a heartfelt discussion on taking action (not the kind you may think), becoming more honest with yourself, and embracing the idea that it’s okay for things to not always be good so you can heal and move forward.
