What will you manifest for 2019? Plus 2 easy exercises to get you started!

It’s hard to believe that we’re here again. We’ve all made another complete rotation around the sun. It’s a natural time to reflect on the past year, and to consider what 2019 has in store.

I often hear debates this time every year about the effectiveness of New Year’s Resolutions. To make them, or not to make them? That is the question.

I think it’s great that our culture supports this exercise of introspection and goal-setting. Of course, you don’t have to make a New Year’s Resolution list for January 1st. You can do it any day of the year. (And I hope that you do!)

If resolutions aren’t your cup of tea, here are two new exercises you might like to try.

  1. Create a vision board.
Grab several magazines, newspapers or books and cut out words, phrases and pictures that speak to you. Give yourself permission to visualize what you want.Give yourself space to let your true feelings come through. Get creative and have fun with it. When you’re done, step back and see what all the parts are saying about the whole. (It might not always be obvious right away!)Recently, I did this exercise. I started cutting out lots of pictures of light and windows. I didn’t even understand why I was drawn to those images until I moved into my new home. My new home has a wall with floor to ceiling windows and large vaulted ceilings. My vision board was my way of nesting and manifesting my new home! What a fun discovery that was!I’ve included mine below, and I’d love to see yours when you complete them.

  1. Pick a Word
Choose the exercise that feels best and truest to you. (Or give them both a spin!)Thank you for letting me share a little corner of your inbox this year. I look forward to all that 2019 has in store! If you are on the fence about the Unbounded Potential mastermind, these two exercises will be a great idea to gain clarity on your visions and goals for the next year and from there we can have a conversation about whether the mastermind is a great fit for you. You can schedule time to chat with me here.

Happy New Year,

P.S. I’d love to hear what your words, or vision boards, or New Year’s Resolutions reveal about what you want for 2019.

Navigating Neurodivergence: Energy Hacks for Empaths with Regina Carey

Regina Carey joins me on The Prosperous Empath® this week for a truly heart-centered conversation about neurodivergence and how it is often interconnected with being an empath and/or HSP. Regina is a special ed teacher turned Executive Coach who has spent the last three decades educating, empowering, and advocating for those who feel stuck, yet long to take that next great leap. Recently, she returned from an adventurous trip to Machu Picchu and shares her experience of how saying yes to physical challenges has helped her balance intense emotions as an empath. But something I deeply appreciate about this conversation are Regina’s insights on neurodivergence, especially ADHD, and the importance of managing energy and advocating for oneself. Regina reflects on her upbringing and the influence of the women in her life, emphasizing the need to break patterns of burnout and dis-ease to live authentically. This episode is for anyone who is neurodivergent (or loves someone who is) and is seeking energetic balance in their life. Tune in for actionable steps on thriving more as an ambitious empath.
